Block VI: Crisis Response Exercises

The Crisis Management course is conducted jointly with Deutsche Bank AG, with the participation of leading researchers and policymakers. The course draws on both practical and academic components, including real-life/real-time simulations on strategic, military, civilian and business scenarios, as well as conceptual analyses using case studies of effective crisis management.

Prof. Andreas Wenger

is Professor of International and Swiss Security Policy at the ETH Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) and Director of the Center for Security Studies (CSS). He is the delegate for the MAS ETH SPCM of the Department of Humanities, Social, and Political Sciences at ETH Zurich and is the MAS ETH SPCM representative. Andreas holds a doctoral degree from the University of Zurich.

Michel Hess Ph.D.

is Head of Studies and Training at the Center for Security Studies (CSS), ETH Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology). He co-directs the MAS ETH SPCM in conjunction with the Department of Humanities, Social, and Political Sciences at ETH Zurich, the Military Academy at ETH Zurich and the Swiss Armed Forces College.
